Creative Europe, the European funding programs for the Cultural and Creation sectors, has launched its first calls for proposals with a budget of 300 millions € !

The new work programme for the first year of Creative Europe 2021-2027 is approved with a budget of 300 millions €. The first calls for proposals are published on the website of the Education and Culture Executive Agency.

The European programme help the professionals and artists from all cultural sectors collaborate with discipline and borders. It supports three main topics :

• CULTURE :
  33% of the total budget is dedicated to cover all sectors of culutre and creation (except the audiovisual and film sectors).

• MEDIA :
  58% of the total budget is dedicated to cover the audiovisual and cinematographic sectors

• TRANS-SECTORAL :
  9% of the total budget is dedicated to faciliting collaboration between creative sectors and covering the information media sector.

These three sub-programmes aim to strengthen artistic and cultural cooperation at European level, to encourage the competitiveness, innovation and sustainability of the European audiovisual sector. And they aim to promote innovative and collaborative cross-sectoral actions, including support for media education and a diverse, independant and pluralistic media environment.
